Wonderful flower shots. I have been encouraging these to come up on the edge of the garden.

Beautiful. When I drove to Virginia last week, the medians of the interstates in North Carolina were planted with wildflowers and they were just gorgeous.

Lovely photo. Lovely flowers. After the cold, dreary, gray winter we had I am appreciating spring much more this year.

Bee-yew-tee-full!

Yet another beautiful flower shot. These look a little like phlox we have right now in the desert. Alas, they will be gone soon.

I just want to stare at this picture. The color is spectacular. I'd like to believe you grew this yourself in that wonderful Pennsylvanian soil.

Blue flowers! - nothing can be prettier.

Beth F 5/27/09, 3:15 PM

Margot: these flowers are indeed from my own garden, but they are wildflowers that I have encouraged to stick around. The central Pennsylvania countryside is filled with dame's rocket this time of year. It is one of my favorite flowers and signifies warmer days to come.

Now see, I would call those purple flowers. Blue, purple - whatever color they are - keep encouraging their wildness to frequent your garden!
