I'm a nice-looking man with a beautiful wife and two great kids. I used to publish magazines, but now I pretend I'm an investigative reporter. It's one way to survive my year in jail. When the going got rough, I engaged in some creative financing. Now I live with my fellow convicts . . . and 130 leprosy patients.

I can pass up the fantasy (like Fire Study) but for some weird reason this book appeals to me. I like stories where people survive in situations like this.

I am totally intrigued with this book. Yeah, it doesn't necessarily have a feel good vibe, but who needs that all the time?
