aren't cardinals so pretty. Rather nasty and aggressive...but pretty. and I always love their little peaked 'hat'.

Wonderful picture--I love catching a flash of red is a sea of white!

Beautiful! I just love cardinals - they always make me think of watching the birds with my grandmother.

I'm tempted to say what a lucky shot but I'll bet it took great patience to get that just right. It's perfect.

Beautiful bird. We have lots of little yellow finches out here in the wilds of Nevada. This long, cold winter is getting old. I hope the birds are heralding the coming of spring.

That is such a lovely picture! We have a pair of cardinals living around here too - they're such gorgeous birds.

I just love this! Cardinals are my favorite winter birds because of the bright spot they provide in all the snow. Lovely!

Hi Beth, nice to meet you, I love your blog and it looks very interesting, I will have to snoop around lol
Love the cardinals, these birds are so beautiful. One day I counted six sets of cardinals in my back yard. I love how they travel with their mates.
