It looks like those fans they sell on beaches!

You have an eye for finding beautiful shots like these.

Indrani 12/1/10, 5:57 AM

Looked like a giant wheel to me.

Sandy Nawrot 12/1/10, 6:58 AM

I'm pretty sure you have a picture of the living version somewhere in here. That is kind of a sad (but beautiful) photo.

This makes me miss summer even more. It's supposed to get down to 28 here tonight, and that does not make me happy.

Hannah 12/1/10, 8:21 AM

Silhouettes! Beautiful.

TheBookGirl 12/1/10, 9:29 AM

This picture very much fits in with our weather today...gray, rainy and plummeting temperatures...guess it really is December.

Ed T. 12/1/10, 9:30 AM

An almost perfect image for a 34-degree morning! Happy WW!

Beth Hoffman 12/1/10, 10:03 AM

It's a Ferris Wheel at an abandoned amusement park for faeries!

Heather 12/1/10, 11:43 AM

Looks like you were one step (or season!) ahead of me! It's a sad, yet beautiful picture. Makes me long to curl up in my warm, cozy house and read a good book!

Amazing, just amazing. What a beautiful way to see the world. I can't wait each week to see what you'll see next.

Rebecca Rasmussen 12/1/10, 11:50 AM

This is wonderful -- we still have a few roses blooming in St. Louis, but soon this is what the gardens will look like + maybe it's not all sad after all. :)

TexasRed 12/1/10, 12:18 PM

Looks so chilly!!

caite 12/1/10, 4:40 PM

striking..a bit abstract

Will 12/1/10, 7:09 PM

That's beautiful. And a perfect photo for the first winter day of December!

Happy WW!

Darlene 12/1/10, 8:02 PM

Great picture! Love the angle it was taken - almost looks like an umbrella.

carolsnotebook 12/2/10, 1:06 PM

Beautiful picture, but rather sad to me.

Robin McCormack 12/4/10, 3:38 PM

Reminds me of a merry go round. I like it. Captures the essence of winter.

Jenners 12/5/10, 4:26 PM

It would be neat to see the same shot in spring, summer and fall. : )

SuziQoregon 12/7/10, 6:02 PM

Delayed feed reading here - LOVE this shot! Just amazing.
