Brrrrr... just looking at the ice makes me feel even colder than I already am.

Indrani 2/9/11, 2:21 AM

I've had enough ice this winter and am so looking forward to spring! Your photo is lovely!

Cool pic! Love how it formed, interesting crystals!

Delicate little bridge. Good shot.

Icy fragile, winter lace.

Susan 2/9/11, 9:17 AM

Mine is a view of ice as well, but not as close up as yours. I love ice close-ups--such crystalline beauty!

Zibilee 2/9/11, 9:25 AM

I love the frilly edge of the melting ice.

Marie 2/9/11, 9:52 AM

Terrific close-up!

What a beautiful eye you have. I haven't had to suffer through ice this year but I hope this wonderful photo makes the ice a little bit worth it.

Beth Hoffman 2/9/11, 10:45 AM

Love how you captured a fragile moment!

Beautiful! Everyone's wordless wednesdays are giving me good story inspiration :)

At least there are a few advantages to icy weather, like interesting photo ops.

Great title for the photo, too!

Interesting, I saw the space between the snow/ice before I focused on the white stuff (maybe extended denial for me?!?)

I am curious about this ice photo. What/where is it? Very unusual melt pattern.

Snowcatcher 2/10/11, 4:12 PM

What a great shot with an unusual perspective, even if we are all getting tired of cold! Love the hues in the photo, too!

What a neat photo.

Michelle 2/19/11, 7:13 PM

Have I mentioned that I'm ready for winter to be over?

As gorgeous as it can be (and this is a fantastic picture) I'm ready for the full on melting!
