I would have never guessed this was a fountain, had you not mentioned it. Great shot.

What a beautiful picture of natural elements in the middle of THE city!

OK, I'm drawing blank because I'm still waking up this morning ... the guy with the bullet thru the apple? That's what this photo brings to mind - awesome!

I love water shots like this one...it's the only time you really get to see all the details of water...when you freeze it :)

I thought that was ice when I first looked at it.

This is a wonderful photo, and I love that you were able to capture the water falling!

Barbara 6/15/11, 9:04 AM

It's so hard to capture water falling. This is a super picture.

Beth Hoffman 6/15/11, 9:44 AM

WOW! When I first saw it, I thought of the collar of a vintage coat with crystal lace!

Great shot.

Looks like ice crystals, but I can see that it is water drops. Very nice shot.

Impressive shot - you got the water in mid motion.
(This picture is also a reminder I need to get back to NYC soon.)

Neat! I love photos that manage to capture water in motion but make it seem frozen.

I never tire of pictures of water in movement. It creates such interesting shapes! Great shot!

Marie 6/16/11, 6:28 PM

Moving water is notoriously hard to photograph, but you did an awesome job. Well done! This is fantastic.

What a great picture. I'm trying to puzzle out what it is at the top (if it's water or granite from the fountain.
