I don't think I'll try this one, but if you want a great fantasy audiobook that's good for all ages, have you listened to the Bartimaeus books by Jonathan Stroud? They're dark, funny, and excellent audiobooks, narrated by Simon Jones. I am more a fan of epic fantasy, like Lord of the Rings, which I have reread countless times since I was a child.
