
I'm a young teenager in ancient Alexandria. My older sisters have recently died and my father has just returned from Rome to reclaim his throne. I am beginning to realize that I am the oldest surviving child of my father and that someday I could be queen. I am a Ptolemy, and I am directly descended from Alexander the Great. My older sisters used to tell me that I was Greek, not Egyptian.

You're well and truly in the ancient world! I like Margaret George's books, but I haven't read Cleopatra. I have Helen of Troy on my to-be-read list. Cleopatra's going on the list now!

I've never heard of Margaret George either, but I love reading about the life of Cleopatra! I've got to check out this book!

ReplyDeleteI've never read any Cleopatra-books, but I have the Elizabeth Taylor movie on dvd and it is imo the best Cleo-movie of them all (and there are a lot)
