ReplyDeleteGreat old sign. Unfortunately most of the old shop & restaurant signs have disappeared from Copenhagen. Too many people seem to prefer modern neon signs & do not realize how wonderful these old ones are.
Dorte: I love the signs in the older parts of the older places in Europe. We rarely see such great signs in the United States.

ReplyDeleteBy the way -- the picture on your header is so beautiful -- what town is that? It looks like the river walk in San Antonio, but I don't recall so many plants being there.
I am in love with the signs and the scrolling brackets that they hang from. There is nothing like that here. This makes me long to travel.

My wife has mentioned Bremen many times. It's the site of some kind of play or something that's only put on every few years. I suppose we'll visit one day.
