What's a begjnhof? Here's some information about the one in Brugge.

Thanks for the link to the explanation! I was about to leave a comment asking what it was.

That invites mystery. Just want to know what's on the other side.

Beautiful picture with interesting arc shapes (top of door and the tiles).

Doors are always mysterious to me. Where does it go? What's on the other side?

Hello, my fellow door-lovers! Doors and pathways beckon me. Every time I travel I get a few awesome photos of doors, which I have enlarged and framed around the house. This photo would be on my wall the if I had taken it!

Beautiful door, but I can never think of Bruges without the images and words of the movie, In Bruges in my head. Have you seen it? I'll warn you - there's a LOT of well, shall we say off-color language?! :<)

I never thought door pictures could be attractive, but you have changed my mind. I'm going to photograph some when I'm in Poland in June!

Thanks for the link, it was very intersting to learn about the nuns. I saw that you noticed I gave you an award. I just wanted to let you know that I was planning on telling you ahead of time but I guess I am a bigger procrastinator than I thought.

Now that's a doorbell I feel like ringing. Thanks for your visit over at my place.

A door like that could lead anywhere ;o)
