Thanks so much to Carl from Stainless Steel Droppings for hosting the fourth edition of the RI.P. challenge.I read my two books and even have the reviews written and posted. Both books were mysteries:
Mind Scrambler by Chris Grabenstein
To Darkness and to Death by Julia Spence-Fleming
This is a super challenge! I didn't join last year because I thought participants had to read horror, which I don't do. Once I realized that mysteries counted, I was in. I'm already looking forward to next fall.
To see what everyone else read, see the R.I.P. IV Review Site there are an astounding 650+ reviews posted. Now how's that for a 2-month challenge?
I am proud of you for not getting hung up in the scary aspect of the challenge! I signed up for four books (when I thought it was a year-long challenge - ha!), reviewed 6 during the two month time period, plus three more that were read in the two months but reviewed in November. A little out of control. I love spooky stories!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing the challenge.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteI was tempted, and next year I think I will try to squeeze it in. I would like to (re)read and review some Gothic Horror.
Both seem good!

ReplyDeleteI love mysteries. I've got 2 Agatha Christie's waiting for me currently...=)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to start up/keep up my own book blog; feel free to stop by!

I can't believe how many people participate in this challenge. Hooray for Carl!
ReplyDeleteAnd hooray to you for finishing!
Way to go! It sounds very fun. I love mysteries. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for this challenge next year.
ReplyDeleteI like that this challenge was short and sweet; well, maybe "sweet" isn't the right word ...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing! I'll keep some space on my calendar for RIP next year.
Congrats on finishing the challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on another job well done.
ReplyDeleteThis one seemed fun so I might try it next year.
I need to do my wrap-up post as well!
