Believe it or not, I took this shot yesterday at dusk. I was walking through my yard and noticed that my roses were blooming -- in early December in the cold! I took a few shots, which were rather boring and I decided to try the flash.
Except for a bit of cropping, this is right from the camera, no special effects.
You would think down here in Florida, WHERE IT WILL BE IN THE STINKING MID-80's TODAY (I'm over it) that we would have beautiful blossoms everywhere. But not in my yard.
Just beautiful and what a special treat on a cold December day! I just got a new camera (a good one finally) so maybe I'll start taking photos! LOL -- in my free time!
My first question to you was going to be "when did you take that picture?" I can't believe you have roses in your yard opening up still! Looks like we're about to get our first snow of the year, so no more flowers around here.
