Beautiful bird. We have lots of little yellow finches out here in the wilds of Nevada. This long, cold winter is getting old. I hope the birds are heralding the coming of spring.

aren't cardinals so pretty. Rather nasty and aggressive...but pretty. and I always love their little peaked 'hat'.
