This old willow tree grows near a creek about 2 miles from my house. I don't know what has caused it to be so gnarly.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. I recently took some pictures of a tree with deep texture. It almost looked like the bark was braided. Yeah, I get excited over tree bark...

ReplyDeleteAs an older person, I can relate to this tree. Young people may look at older folks and think they're "gnarly," but we have stories to tell for those willing to listen.

ReplyDeleteSandy: I've lived here many years and I don't remember anyone ever commenting on that tree before. That's not to say that others aren't familiar with it.
