Shaking because I'd overdosed on sugar—someone had to heroically step up and taste-test the cupcakes, after all—and not because I was worried about slipping and dropping the tray, even though these weren't your run-of-the-mill Betty Crockers. ReplyDeleteHave heard such wonderful things about this book. I would have honestly written it off as "just another women's lit" book (which are often good but not great).
ReplyDeleteOk, so you know the "molten" chocolate and cayenne cupcake got me, right? I'm not even a big fan of chocolate, but all bets are off if it's any form of molten chocolate cake.

Sounds like a great read, though I'm wanting to get down to the reason he died and why it was only the "first" time.
