  1. I took this shot in a bar in New York. It looked like the best seat in the house, but it was empty.

  5. Can I just curl up right there, with a book? Even though it's in a bar, it just looks so cozy! I love the lighting and composition, great shot.

  6. I could picture some old reclusive man, sitting in that chair reading a book. (What a great shot).

  7. I was imagining that it was a beloved reading spot for a jailer.

I'm trying not to think too much about the fact that the chair looks like a great spot for reading and that the chair is empty.

Here's my Wordless Wednesday. I hope you will stop by.

  9. Based on the "guest list" you tweeted, I would have guessed Muffie and Stuffie's (or whatever that place was called!)

I don't remember you taking the shot ... and it looks so EMPTY in the place. Very unexpected.

  16. Very inviting spot for a bit of a read and a glass of wine. I've been known to read in bars, but they are mostly too dark or too loud or both.

  28. That looks like the kind of place I like to be once the sun goes down. As for the Wienermobile, they told me there are several of them still running around the country. I too thought they were history, but proof to the contrary showed up right in my Reno neighborhood.
