  1. That's so pretty. I've never seen Queen Anne's Lace in real life. I don't know that it grows in Colorado.

  3. Nice one. I would have never guessed that was Queen Anne's Lace. I see the plants all the time but they just blend into the autumn background. The macro shot really pulls out the detail in the seeds.

  5. That's interesting - when I first saw it, I thought it was a Christmas ornament!

    Happy WW!

  6. I'm like Ed, I thought it was a decoration because it's ball shaped. Great photo!

  10. Very nice photo! I want a macro lens from Santa this year ... and a telephoto lens, and a wide angle ... Anyway, great shot as always!

  11. In my yard I thought these were ugly, but in your photo I can see the close-up beauty still remaining. Genius.

  15. I don't know if I've ever actually noticed Queen Anne's lace in the fall when it's all folded in.

  16. When we lived up north, this stuff was everywhere - in FL none can be found. Interesting shot, I thought it was an ornament at first glance.

  24. You've had some great fall photos - showing the beauty of nature and when it has "passed its prime."

  25. Ok so that looks a little creepy. Kind of like some sort of insect that snaps shut on it's prey. Very interesting.
