  1. That is just too cool - and a really nice shot. Is it a permanent installation? What do you know about it?

  3. Lovely focus. The glass pane adds mystery to the shot.

  5. That's so beautiful! The installation is interesting, but the color play with the outside coming in makes it really special.

  7. Very nice - most of our street sculpture tends to be very large and very metallic.

    Happy WW!

  9. I don't know anything about the piece except it looked permanent. It was glass panels with copper fittings. There were a number of prisms and some steel structural pieces. The entire piece was dome-shaped and you could walk inside and around it.

It was difficult to shoot because the sculpture was transparent and very reflective. Finally I went small, and that seemed to work.

  10. Really interesting -- lots of contrasts with the reflection, and textures. Cool!

  11. Wow, I love how the dance of light and background colors are diffused against the turquoise edges of the glass!

  14. Bookbabie: no. But I'm sure I'm not the first person to have photographed the sculpture. :)

There is the combination of glass and the floating metallic pieces.

  23. Now that's an interesting piece. I really enjoy the street sculpture. We've been getting more of it every year, some permanent and some just for the season. We had a giant eyeball last year and I never got around to photographing it before they took it down!
