What's in a Name 6: Emotion

Here's the place to link up your reviews of books with an emotion in the title.

If you don't have a blog or don't write reviews, please mark your progress in the comments.

If Mr. Linky ever disappears, just leave a comment or come back and link up later. Or email me (see contact icons in the sidebar) and I'll add your link when Mr. Linky is fixed.

  1. Beth, I made a mistake putting up my link. It's up there three times:3, 4, 5. Number 5 is the best link. Sorry to cause an error.

  3. I finished The House of Mirth (by Edith Wharton) yesterday along with a blogger friend of mine; and we were just discussing what we thought "the word" might be! Tomorrow we're discussing Lily Bart vs Jane Eyre and, also "Oh, Lily!" moments (a.k.a "Is Lily stupid or what?" (I contend that she is, but I suspect my blogger friend is going to defend her!)) Later on, we're going to watch the movie together a la tweetchat. The more I think about this book, the more I marvel at the story's construction and Edith Wharton's writing. I haven't sorted out all my thoughts on the book yet, at least not enough for a review, but I do highly recommend it, especially as a book club selection: There are a lot of things to talk about! :-)

  6. I am using Cat Spitting Mad for emotion. The cover of the book really shows a cat mad.

  9. Looks like everyone is haveing fun with this category. There are some I never would have looked at as emotion, but they certainly are. I seemed to get stuck, with love, or hate, or anger or sorrow. I really like looking at all the choices.

  12. I had been planning to read Kissed a Sad Goodbye for my "emotion" book, but when I wrote my post on Bitter Brew I realized that bitter is an emotion so I went with that. Fascinating book!

  17. Tamara Levine’s But Hope is Longer: Navigating the Country of Breast Cancer was definitely an emotional read for this category, but well worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
