The second book in the series, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is now a major motion picture (20th-Century Fox; directed by Thor Freudenthal) and will be opening in theaters around the country tomorrow! Here's the studio summary:

Not only is the story exciting (I've always been fascinated by the Bermuda Triangle) but the star power is, well, stellar. The cast includes Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel, Douglas Smith, and Stanley Tucci.

    Great giveaway. My cousin is dying to see this movie, which is surprising since she's not really a moviegoer. But she likes mythology.
