Musing Mondays: Holiday Books

Here is this week's MM. For more about the meme and other answers, visit Just One More Page (here).

The question this week is this: With the holiday season now upon us, how does it affect your reading? Do you have more, or less, time to read at Christmas? Do you read Christmas themed/related books?

I have a bit less time for reading in dead tree form (print) but somewhat more time for audiobooks. Lots of spare time is taken up with cleaning, baking, and decorating, which cuts down on physical reading; however, I can listen to books while I bake, clean, trim the tree, and so on.

I don't do holiday/Christmas books. I would rather be reading through my TBR pile and wish list.

I'm busy around this time too. I have a lot less time for books and unfortunately have never cottoned to audio books.

Hrm...I haven't read Christmas themed books in the past, but I'm thinking about doing so this time around.

I find I have a hard time concentrating on audiobooks while doing other things. Maybe that would change if I did it more. I'm with you - I'd rather tackle my TBR pile than read a Christmas book.

Hi Beth. Audio books sound like a good idea. However, I end up tuning them out while I work. I'm more of a visual person.

My post is up finally.
