Tuesday Thingers: Popularity

This meme is hosted by The Boston Bibliophile. For other responses, see her blog here. Here is this week's question:

What's the most popular book in your library? Have you read it? What did you think? How many users have it?

I've been a member of LT for a while, but I added my first books to the site just this past weekend. So far I've uploaded only the 250 books I've read in the past couple of years. That said, my most popular book is Angels and Demons at 15,343. I have read it. It was kind of fun, but the ending was too far fetched. I read it before I blogged, so I have no review up.

This was my first TT meme!

  1. Good Morning Beth. I tried read Dan Browns books but just never cared for any of them. My husband enjoyed the Angels and Demons book better than the Da Vinici Code book.

  2. I've read a couple of Dan Brown's book and that may have been one of them, but I'm not sure.

  3. I think I have a copy of Angels and Demons somewhere, but I don't have it listed in my LT library for some reason. Haven't read it yet. But I thought The DaVinci Code was a fun read - not the best-written book I've ever read, but enjoyable.

  4. Never read A and D and I can't discuss Da Vince Code without going off on a rant. ;-)

  6. Btw...I am curious. You most likely have answered this before, but the photo in your header, where was that taken? Looks familiar somehow...

  7. The header was taken in Brugge, Belgium. Thanks for asking.

  8. I have read most Dan Browns books and enjoyed them, but didn't love them...

  9. I've read both DVC and Angels and Demons. I liked the DVC and found it a light, easy read with a good pace. And then I was hungry for more and picked up Angels and Demons and really, like others say here, didn't care that much for it. Haven't read any other Dan Brown books though.

  10. I've got Angels & Demons (just saw it the other day), but haven't read it yet. I did enjoy The Da Vinci Code though.

    Here's my Thinger!

  12. I enjoyed The DaVinci Code for what it was: total escapist fiction. I went on to read Angels & Demons and did like it more than DaVinci.

  13. I have Angels and Demons and I know I read it but I don't remember it much. But I did enjoy Da Vinci Code.

  14. I enjoyed Angels and Demons more than Da Vinci Code. They are both the most popular books in my LT catalogue. Why am I not surprised?
