How often do you visit the library? Do you have a scheduled library day/time, or do you go whenever? Do you go alone, or take people with you?
I go to the library once or twice a month, but I don't have a scheduled day. I like to go mid-afternoon on a weekday, when it's least crowded. I almost always go alone. I use the library's digital download services and databases many times a month.

Because I am able to order my library books and have them delivered, I don't often physically visit the library. But sometimes, just as a treat, I do. I love to browse. The downside is that I always come out with more than I can actually read!
ReplyDeleteWow, Sandy! That'd be so cool if my library actually delivered my books. I'd use the library more if I didn't have to go into town.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention in my post that I use the online catalogue and renew books online as well - when no-one else has reserved them! I don't like to go when it's busy either.

ReplyDeleteI love going to the library. I go about once or twice a month too, take some time in the afternoon and browse the books - chatting to them, hoping to make new friends and catching up with old ones. I always go alone. It is my special time with the books, I don't want to be distracted.
ReplyDeleteMy library is just a few minutes away, so I find myself there a few times a week. I always have more than I could possibly read, but I figure it's a cheap form of entertainment!
ReplyDeleteI feel so evil when i breath a sigh of relief that there are no noisy teens in the library. I pick times to go when I know they'll be in school and it's just so peaceful - the way a library should be.
