I could frame that and put it on my wall!

Great combination of old wooden cart and new bicycle. The dichotomy really makes the shot.

bicycles, bricks, old wooden doors and flower pots by the window --- they really spell brugge... now, i just have to look at your header picture (the canal) and i have a wonderful view of the "venise of the north" :)...

Beautiful photo!

As Sandy said, frameable. That would make a good picture above the mantel of my fireplace.

That is such a cool picture. I don't know what it is about it that makes it so fascinating, but I like it!

Oh I like this a lot! The only thing in the shot that gives away the time period is the bike, and maybe the folded umbrella at right. Other than that it could have been shot any time in the last 50 years or more.

Timeless!

Nice, I love seeing the old and new in the same photo.

You always take amazing photos, it makes me want to find time to learn some photography.

Oh, another Beth Fish variation on the theme of bricks and mortar :D

I am sure the rest of us see the same stones, just not with the same photographer´s eye - and that makes all the difference.

That's just lovely.

It looks so quaint...is it Germany? I'm guessing from the name...

Nicole (Linus's Blanket) 3/11/09, 7:02 PM

I can just see myself hopping off the bike and going inside to buy...I don't know, something.

Ladytink_534 3/11/09, 7:19 PM
