Beautiful closeup. I grew a variety of sunflower this year that has no pollen. Kind of nice as it does not drop on the table like the other varieties. There is not much choice in the pollen-less varieties though, so I also have others that are messy.

ReplyDeleteI have a bouquet of garden flowers on my table right now: yellow and red, with one sunflower in. They really brighten the room.
LOVE sunflowers! We grew some last year, but too busy to fool with them this year...what a shame too.
