Oh, I'm so happy to find your blog. What a beautiful and unusual flower. Yours is the second purple bloom I've seen for today's WW. It must be purple flower season ;-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Cheers from Holland!

The simplicity of the shot is perfect. nicely done. Here’s my WW hope you can stop by!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo, Beth. I love these natural photos
ReplyDeleteHow purty!
ReplyDeleteYet another beautiful flower shot. When you start looking, wildflowers are in every nook and cranny.
ReplyDeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteI thought it might be purple loosestrife but after searching some pictures online I'm not sure what it is.
No idea what the name is, but it's lovely & so delicate!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.. Love that it isn't in full bloom yet... But I bet it is just a beautiful then as now
ReplyDeleteThose small, open blossoms are really lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture!
ReplyDeleteI like the budding blossom peeking out too like Beth noted - but sometimes the closed up plant is just as pretty as the reveal.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHaving a blog has caused me to look at things so much close than before. Like the little blossoms with their delicate colors.
ReplyDeleteThis one makes me sigh and close my eyes and wait for the hint of perfume to waft past my nose.
There are very very pretty. I've never noticed them around here (not that I frequent a lot of marshy areas LOL).
