I love how you caught it just as the buds are opening up!

I wonder what those flowers are - the little teeny tiny flowers are beautiful.

If anyone knows the name of this flower, please tell me!

Oh, I'm so happy to find your blog. What a beautiful and unusual flower. Yours is the second purple bloom I've seen for today's WW. It must be purple flower season ;-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Cheers from Holland!

No clue about the name, but that doesn't matter.
You have captured its beauty well and that matters. :)

Yet another beautiful flower shot. When you start looking, wildflowers are in every nook and cranny.

Nice shot.
I thought it might be purple loosestrife but after searching some pictures online I'm not sure what it is.

Beautiful.. Love that it isn't in full bloom yet... But I bet it is just a beautiful then as now

Those small, open blossoms are really lovely.

I like the budding blossom peeking out too like Beth noted - but sometimes the closed up plant is just as pretty as the reveal.

Having a blog has caused me to look at things so much close than before. Like the little blossoms with their delicate colors.

This one makes me sigh and close my eyes and wait for the hint of perfume to waft past my nose.

There are very very pretty. I've never noticed them around here (not that I frequent a lot of marshy areas LOL).
