I so miss the details of older churches! Ours is quite new, and modern, and somehow, not quite as lovely as those in Europe. Also, when I last took my dog on a walk, he jerked the camera out of my hand into the snow where it broke, and now I have no way to post my photographs (until I buy a new one). I'm so sad...

ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I had to think for a minute about what it was that I was looking at!
ReplyDeleteReally cool, but kind of creepy, too.
ReplyDeleteA pew, eh? Someone wanted to make sure you had the feeling you were being watched.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! At first glance I too thought that was an eye. Very interesting detail.
ReplyDeleteOh, you and your eye for details!
ReplyDeleteI ventured out in the cold with my camera today, thinking ´what would Beth Fish see here?´
Our camera does not allow me to zoom in in the same way as you do, but you have set a good example.

Great shot - isn't it an unusual find in a church pew? I'm thinking of the 'evil eye'!
ReplyDeleteI like that the sides are lit unequally.
Nice shot and great detail!

ReplyDeleteThe lines lead right into the photo, and the lighting is dramatic. Very nicely done!
