We were at an antique farm machinery show and one of the steam-powered vehicles on display was this tram or trolley car. The wheels are part of the engine, each with with a little pressure-release valve. I loved how even the gears were so nicely painted.
I wonder if this machine was so nicely painted when it was in use. It's true that we like to make the items we use daily aesthetically pleasing, but sometimes it's just too much work. That's why I don't scour the bottoms of my pots and pans!

ReplyDeleteNice closeup.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great eye for getting the "part" of a bigger item that is eye catching, interesting and makes a cool composition. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI feel the need to walk around making train noises. Woo-woo!
