Beth: The photo was taken right in the cornfield. The husk had naturally dried up and come away from the cob. The cob was still on the stalk. All I did was photograph it.
I had to read your caption to even figure out what this was. I don't think I would have guessed corn. It looked so big I was thinking onions or small potatoes.
