  1. It's kinda sad to see empty playgrounds, but the kids will be back when the sun comes out again.

  2. Awww, no one outside playing. At least there's no snow on them.

  3. HaHa! We both posted something about summer. I took my picture yesterday on a summery day, but a cold front came in last night and now it is frigid :( Summer is officially over down here.

  4. I have a feeling it'll be a long winter, and a while before these get used again:)

Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. I was at the playground with two grandchildren yesterday. It was just a touch chilly, but we had a great time.

  8. Echoing what others have written, it looks cold and it seems to miss the sounds and movements of happy children scurrying around in it.

  10. The colorful playground equipment stands out even stronger against the muted colors of the winter landscape. Sometimes empty places make for the best photos.

  11. It does look kind of sad. The way time seems to be racing by, it will be summer before you know it.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  12. Definitely a wintry feel to that image. Hopefully the down time will be put to good use, doing maintenance so that the playground will be ready to welcome the children back come spring.

    Happy WW (and Thanksgiving)!

  13. It's so strange to see a playground without a single child in it! I can imagine that it's way too cold for that right now, but the picture is very interesting!

  18. Can´t help it, but I wonder how many different stories you could write about that picture. Children´s book, cosy mystery, thriller....

  23. It looks very organized. Lonely, yes, but strangely in order.
