    This is the first time I've played around with effects. Here I use the black and white option and pulled out the color until the pink center of the flower (the stamens?) was just about to disappear. So the image is almost B&W but not completely.

    Gorgeous! I love peonies, but would never have them in my yard. The ants they tend to get when they're buds creep me out.
