Dear Ford, I can't believe my sister was stupid enough to cheat on you with your best friend two weeks before your wedding. With you joining the Army so suddenly, I didn't get a chance to confess in person. I know I'm only 14, but I love you. I'll love you forever and write every day. Or at least once a week. I cried and cried when you left. . . . I wish you didn't have to leave. I really will love you forever, Ford. I promise.—Three Little Words by Susan Mallery (Harlequin HQN, 2013, p. 1)

Nope, don't think this one is for me, but hope that you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know, this is kind of a fantasy thing right, that makes you feel good? I need to read these when I need a lull. And that pack of stuff is fun, and something my daughter would probably steal from me, so why not!
ReplyDeleteDon't think would be for me. I hope you enjoy it though.
ReplyDeleteI am totally in the fantasy/romance mode these days!
ReplyDeleteNot really into romance novels but there's certainly a lot of interesting stuff going on in that first paragraph!
ReplyDeleteI've never read this author, but I do occasionally mix in some romance reads. This one just might be one that holds my attention.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY TUESDAY MEMES POST
When I read books set in small towns, they always sounds so appealing but I don't think I'd want to live in one. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteNot my usual kind of read but a goodie bag of pampering products is tough to resist.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good book. My teaser: City of Bones
ReplyDeleteHmm, maybe not my type of book, but what a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything by Susan Mallery, but I do like the setup for this novel. Thanks for sharing & stopping by!

This sounds like a fun story that I'd enjoy. Good teaser.
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is from THROUGH A YELLOW WOOD.
Nice teaser. I'd be pretty embarrassed to see Ford again after writing that letter to him when I was 14! Lol. Thanks for sharing.

I've read one other book ( actually is was 2 in 1) for a Christmas title challenge. They were fun, light and though predictable good reads. I might read the other Fool's Gold books. Sometimes it is good to work some light chick-lit in with all the other titles requiring more thought and concentration.
ReplyDeleteI love Susan Mallery's books. She's great.
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun read!
