I really liked The Observations, and Endurance is fantastic, even the men in the family have all read that one. Robertson Davies was a wonderful writer. I especially enjoyed his Deptford Trilogy ( Fifth Business, The Manticore, World Of Wonders) but you can't go wrong reading anything by this man. Glad you discovered him. I just discovere The Madonnas of Leningrad myself this week and I can't wait to read it. I really should do this weekly theme. The button is lovely too. Enjoy your new finds.

*The Madonnas of Leningrad* is a lovely novel; bittersweet and very well written.

I've had *Girl with the Dragon Tattoo* on my wish list (which grows and grows!)

Enjoy your new discoveries!

Thanks for reinforcing some of my picks. It's good to know that I've got some good books to look forward to one day.
