Challenge: Buy One Book and Read It

Amy, at her blog My Friend Amy, is hosting a 2009 challenge that I can't resist. She simply asks that we buy a book a month and read it. Because books can overlap all current challenges, I will not be adding to my reading list. I know I need to buy at least 12 books to complete my current challenges, so I can join in without driving myself crazy.

To read about the challenge and to learn about other options for joining in the fun, visit the challenge blog here.

This one is a no-brainer...if only I would buy just one book!

This will be a fun one and will help with that never ending urge to buy books. You have a great plan, incorporating the books you buy with your other challenges. Good luck with this one!

I've been debating on this challenge, and you've made up my mind :) Happy new year and happy reading in 2009!

Buy one book a month is easy. The last B. Dalton (owned by Barnes & Noble)in San Francisco is closing. Everything is half off. I just came home with twelve books!

I'm in this challenge too but I'm choosing the one where I just buy one book this year. Kinda impossible but then I don't think I should be buying any books this month! I need to clear my TBR first. :)

Enjoy doing this challenge! Oh, I wish I could be doing the 12-books one.
