Challenge: Spring Reading Thing

It's spring, which means it's time for Katrina's Spring Reading Thing! To join in, read the rules and sign up at Callapidder Days.

Here is my tentative list, but I hope to stick with it. On the other hand, sometimes I learn about new books and I just can't wait to read them. So I'm mostly committing to a specific number of books. Here's what I'm hoping to read.

Spring Reading Thing List (Proposed Reading)

1. On Agate Hill by Lee Smith
2. The Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
3. Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea
4. Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
5. The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje
6. Needle in the Right Hand of God by R. Howard Bloch
7. Dear Julia by Amy Bronwen Zemser
8. My Man Jeeves by P. G. Wodehouse
9. Curiosity Killed the Cat Sitter by Blaize Clement
10. The Third Day: The Frost by John Marsden

It's not too late to join in the fun!

I think this challenge's button is my favorite of all the buttons I've ever seen, it's just so darn cute!

I have My Man Jeeves on my TBR list - perhaps it will become a summer read. I have also considered the 13 Reasons Why for the read-a-thon. Great List of books!!

What a great list. I've not read a single one and haven't heard of most of them. Look forward to hearing what you have to say about them. More books for my wishlist.

I'm with Robin. Mostly new to me too, but that's a good thing. As you read and review I get a chance to learn of some new great books. Happy reading

You have nice titles on the list. I wasn't supposed to be joining any more challenges but maybe I will just this last time.

I'm doing this one as well!

Jenn, Whitney, Michelle: I'm really looking forward to reading the English Patient. It's for a book club.

Molly, Book Psmith: You mean I'm not the only one to have not read Jeeves? Good to know!

Vasilly: I'm almost done with 13 reasons. It's pretty powerful.

Carrie: I've heard great things about Westerfeld, and my niece has been pushing me to read the series.

Nise': Yes I'm using it for the Civil War Challenge too.

Nely: you know me too well.

Lilly: All the books on this list also are for other challenges. That's my trick for completing so many!

For those of you doing this challenge, I'll be around to see your lists. For everyone else, thanks so much for the encouragement.

A few of these are familiar, but many are brand new to me. Hope you're enjoying them. Thanks so much for being part of the challenge!
