I really like this one! It's cute and somehow hopeful, if you know what I mean.

Beth F 4/22/09, 8:46 AM

Bermuda: thanks!

Shannansbooks: I took the photo in a very small town in Denmark near Tonder. It is one of my favorite photos.

Meghan: I know what you mean!

I am Harriet 4/22/09, 9:01 AM

I've seen that. It's neat!

Dorte H 4/22/09, 9:04 AM

(Have just read about the beauty of brevity - I´ll say no more).

Beth F 4/22/09, 9:06 AM

Harriet: You mean you've seen the same bicycle in Denmark? That'd be cool. Or you've seen similarly decorated bikes?

Anonymous,  4/22/09, 9:23 AM

How fun, flowers dress up anything!

Margot 4/22/09, 9:47 AM

Clever decorating if you can't use the bike anymore. I like the way light falls on the yellow wall above and to the right of the bike.

Marie Cloutier 4/22/09, 10:30 AM

so pretty! very summery and evocative.

Cathy 4/22/09, 10:44 AM

I think I now have a new favorite Beth Photo!

Kailana 4/22/09, 10:48 AM

That is a good use of an unused bike!

Nicole 4/22/09, 10:55 AM

What a beautiful shot!
Well done!

lareine 4/22/09, 10:57 AM

i LOVE this shot!... especially with the wicker baskets filled with green... it spells spring and a ride to the countryside!

Melissa 4/22/09, 11:38 AM

Awesome picture! What a creative idea.

Robin 4/22/09, 11:55 AM

Love it, and the caption suits it perfectly.

That's awesome...would totally match my mom's house decor!

Oh, I really like this one! All the colors together are great, it just has a nice feeling to it...

I look forward to this post of your every week! Thank you! This one is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s!

Alvis 4/22/09, 4:26 PM

Innovative use of an old bike. Very nice.

Michelle 4/22/09, 5:14 PM

I love this picture! It is fabulous! I love all the pics you take. Have you considered selling?

Sandy Nawrot 4/22/09, 5:25 PM

You absolutely should sell your photos. Find a place to allow you a showing. This would definitely be one to consider (also that one of the house with the light on in the reflection). You are quite talented.

Amber 4/22/09, 6:07 PM

I agree with Sandy... every time I come to your blog, I am so impressed with your photos. Come to think of it, I should bookmark it so I'll remember to come by more often. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Beth F 4/22/09, 6:08 PM

Wow! Thanks to everyone. This photo and my banner photo are perhaps my two favorites I ever took. I have not considered selling, but gosh! You have me thinking.

One of my buddies who traveled with me to Denmark asked for this one and it is framed on her wall.

Jennifer 4/22/09, 6:14 PM

It's really beautiful. It reminds me of France, but then I see it's from Denmark. Thank you for stopping by my WW post and commenting. Your site is lovely!

Melody 4/22/09, 7:54 PM

I love this pic! Great shot, Beth!

Literary Feline 4/22/09, 8:33 PM

An alternate use for a bicycle! Great photo. It definitely has a spring feel to it.

Belle | MsBookish 4/22/09, 9:27 PM

Such a great depiction of spring. I always think of flowers, but the bicycle is pure perfection.

Ruth King 4/22/09, 10:39 PM

That is so pretty! Thank you for sharing it!

Junebug 4/22/09, 10:53 PM

Very cool photo! So you have klompen? I am going to order a pair to wear. I would love to visit Holland.

Cathy 4/23/09, 12:13 AM

I thought I'd stop back by and let you know I have a little something for you!
