wonderful capture! i love the idea of seeing the wide expanse of grass and trees through the arched lattice :)...

I love that picture! You need to frame it and hang it on the wall.

Nicole (Linus's Blanket) 4/8/09, 8:47 AM

I want to be there, spread out in the sun, eating. lol

Beautiful photo, Beth!

Ooh! That would be a good pic for those collage things I do.

Mojo 4/8/09, 10:10 AM

Magnificent concept and execution! having full depth of field allows you to see the detail in background, nicely framed by the latticework. You might also try it with the background sharp and the lattice blurred and vice versa for some interesting variations on the theme.

Ooo - just love it. The undulating pattern of the lattice is so nice with the soft background.

Indrani 4/8/09, 10:40 AM

A well framed shot!

That is a nice shot. Green looks real good about now when you're from brown Nevada.

Wow...I love that vibrant green!

BK 4/8/09, 10:45 PM

That was an interesting view. Perhaps that why the saying, "... standing in the shoes of others." A lot of time when we see things from different angles, we will find that things may not always appear the way they are being seen as.

Eve 4/8/09, 11:22 PM

Perfect shot! I particularly like the contrast between the gray ordered geometry of the lattice and the green expanse of semi-tame nature behind it.

Great effect. I love looking through all the different fans. Each one is like a different picture.

amanda 4/9/09, 4:41 PM

This is great, the crop is wonderful and as Mojo says your DOF is advantageous to the viewer.

Dawn - She is Too Fond of Books 4/9/09, 9:45 PM

Lovely! Is the lattice made of stone/granite arches? It doesn't look like wood ...

Sandra 4/10/09, 10:51 AM

Great shot. I agree with Bermudaonion, that would look great on a wall.

Jenners 4/10/09, 8:17 PM
