What's in a Name 2: Wrap Up

I finished the fun What's in a Name 2? challenge last month or so but kept forgetting to write up a wrap-up post. The first What's in a Name? challenge is one of the ones that got me into blogging and so I thank Annie for that.

To see how everyone else completed this challenge, be sure to check out the What's in a Name? blog. Here is my list (click on link for review, rating in parentheses).

  1. A book with a profession in the title: The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly (B+)
  2. A book with a time of day in the title: The Dead of the Night by John Marsden (B)
  3. A book with a relative in the title:Not Becoming My Mother by Ruth Reichl (B+)
  4. A book with a body part in the title: The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan (A)
  5. A book with a building in the title: The Teashop Girls by Laura Schaefer (B+)
  6. A book with a medical condition in the title: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (A)
This was a great challenge, and I lucked out in the books I picked. They were all winners, and I ended up with a nice mix of mystery, nonfiction, and YA. As for my favorite? It would probably be The Hunger Games.

Thanks again to Annie.

This sounds fun, I may have to participate next time. It seems like 2010 is going to be the Year of the Challenge for me.

This looks like a great challenge. I have a couple of the books you read on my shelves to read but some I haven't heard of. I may join up next time!

Congrats on completing it - this was a fun one, like a scavenger hunt.

I think the 'medical condition' was the hardest for me to fill.
