That is a moody photograph. Well done.

Brilliant photograph! Everything about it is just wonderful...

thanks for sharing that on WW!

Great composition. I love how the moon is totally blocked by the tree--it's like an eclipse made with the tree!

Have a happy holiday season!

What a breath-taking picture! If you look close, down where the branches meet the trunk, you can see what looks like part of a face. Or maybe it's just me.

That is so creepy - it would make a great book cover!

Brooke 12/23/09, 10:23 AM

Ooooo Now that is a photo that envokes some serious emotions.. Wonderful...

Stephanie 12/23/09, 10:53 AM

That is lovely! I don't find it spooky -- it kind of gives me a feeling of awe and wonder.

Sandy Nawrot 12/23/09, 11:18 AM

Gorgeous! Very haunting.

Excellent Beth. My first thought Wow. My 2nd thought - That would be neat to use for sci fi post. Lots of adjectives could throw out there, but that picture is just neat. I love the little bit of color shining through.

What a beautiful shot. Perfect night photo.

Eva @ One Swede Read 12/23/09, 5:27 PM

Great photo! It should be on the cover of the next edition of Macbeth!! :)

Snowcatcher 12/23/09, 7:46 PM

Oh, man, is that moody! Could be the cover of a mystery novel! You should play with some text and make up book titles. That's such a great shot!

Merry Christmas!

This is so spooky and moody! Love it!

Stan 12/24/09, 12:47 AM

I like that shot. It's all about the light, and lack thereof.

The Bumbles 12/24/09, 12:50 AM

Isn't it funny the different reactions your shot created? Put me in the beautiful, not creepy, camp.

Merry Christmas Candace!

Robin 12/24/09, 4:06 PM
