Nice sunset. I like the detailed lines on the bare tree.

It definitely feels different than a summer one, doesn't it?

A haunting sunset. I could almost hear the call of a lone crow.

Beautiful.

I experimented taking sky pictures in mid-October. I have a long way to go before I take one as gorgeous as this. I love how the sun gives a unique quality to each one of the clouds.

Beautiful! I love winter sunrises and sunsets. It's lovely that the sky gives us such color in such a decidedly un-colorful season. Merry Christmas!

Love those winter sunsets even though I dislike winter. Something about the lighting or maybe the starkness of the trees that does it.

I hate to disturb such a serene picture, but I wanted to alert people that in today's HuffPo, Al Franken has an alarming article on how the U.S. FCC is now making rulings that threaten net neutrality for getting sites like this one on mobile broadband devices. The FCC is also not banning the "paid prioritization" that could let corporate blogs buy the fast lane, putting our sites in the slow.

The outcry from independent websites was crucial yesterday in improving the FCC ruling. But we need to stay alert and inform each other as new threats come up. We need a community of Paul Revere web bloggers.

I love sunrises and sunsets. You've captured some of the most lovely shades here.

What a lovely sunset.

That tree is wonderful. It would make a great book cover.

Very invoking color. It seems that is about 4 o'clock in the afternoon around here these days.

Dawn @ sheIsTooFondOfBooks 12/25/10, 4:07 PM

beautiful contrasts - the sky looks cold! I like the stark trees and the color in some of the clouds.

The branches in the foreground lend a nice touch to the beautiful picture of sunset. Nice shot!
