great picture!
but honestly, that close up, his nose is a bit creepy. :-)
I hope that you got that close up because of a super duper zoom lens! LOL
While beautiful that bird is looking a bit creepy staring out at me.
I have a bird as my subject this week, too. An annoying bird. A bird who pecks on my window every morning and every evening.
I love the detail of your bird.

Nice honker! :-)

Never saw a close up like this. Very nice shot!
Wow, the beak detail is pretty impressive!
Love it! I love wildlife :)

Oh this is just lovely. But you know how I feel about birds :)
he looks like he's planning something naughty!
Beautiful close-up! I like the effect of the light and shadows as well.
What a lovely face! But, I love birds.
I'm a bird lover too and this is a great photo. Reminds me of a duck I knew, named Donald of course, who lived next door to us in NJ. He followed their son around like a dog and helped deliver papers.
Fabulous! Love the soft shadow around the eye.
What a great close-up.
Beautiful closeup! And the feathers look so soft....
What a great close-up. Such a beautiful face.
Great capture! Happy WW!
Just ducky!
Nice close-up portrait.
Happy New Year!
interesting, the shadows give the photo a bit of mystery--even if it's a duck.
That bird looks like he is on a mission! But seriously, being that close makes me nervous. I am afraid of being pecked.
I love this picture! Beautiful.
Love that catchlight in his/her eye! The lighting is unusual and eye-catching, too. Happy new year!
I think it is creepy :)
Quack.
Hmmm. What can I get into next?
