Quite the contrast. When I look out my window everything is dead.. I can't wait until spring!

Hily nutritious fruit of the rose. I often think of roses conjunctive with the hife of a woman how we bud bloom and finally come to fruit once our petals have fallen away all the while we maintain a someone protective thorny exterior :) It helps me not mind the aging process quite so much reminding me that the withering of the bloom is a promise of fruit to come.

Very pretty. I keep looking for signs of spring, but my yard still looks pretty bleak.

Stan 2/23/11, 2:35 PM

Nice shot. Looks like the ones in my yard, complete with snow background. We're about to get more. :(

That is a great photo of the rose hip. I tried rose hip tea once. Prefer to look at them though, not drink them!

Michelle 2/26/11, 2:28 PM

What is a Rose Hip? It looks similar to an onion.

SuziQoregon 2/27/11, 8:30 PM

Very very nice with the snow in the background. Spring is coming soon. Isn't it???
