Great B&W image of an impressive ice cycle. I remember when I was a kid growing up in southern WV how common it was to find large ice cycles forming along the edge of the house. We would break them off and eat them. That seems so nasty to think about now, but when you're a kid you're blissfully ignorant of such things. lol Happy #WW!

Nice shot, and a perfect subject for B&W. Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/02/signs-and-signposts.html

That looks a little scary. I kept thinking - what if it falls? LOL

Nature's sculptures always amaze me. I see a long-legged angel with her arms spread wide!

Wonderful shot!

i love your icicles

Awesome picture! Mackie was mystified when icicles were falling off the roof the other day. He kept running to pick them up and then looked disappointed. It was cute. lol

Wow, those are some big icicles. It's a little disorienting, it almost seems like the branches and icicles are larger than human size :)

Belle Wong 2/5/15, 1:47 AM

Wow. That's simply gorgeous!

so pretty that it doesn't look real!
