How refreshing it is to see a not-beautiful flower!

I love to see sunflowers. This one looks like he has brightened many a day and now is getting ready to take a long winter's nap. Thank you, sunflower, for brightening our days.

Love the texture of the dark brown eye, all ready to drop seeds for next year's flowers.

I love this photo. It makes me think of my grandma: aging yet still beautiful.

Seeing a sunflower is always enjoyable. This one is still beautiful even though you can see how it is slowly drying up.

That looks like the garden at home here too! Sad for summer to be leaving, but autumn can be beautiful too...

Oh, so sad. My coneflowers don't even have petals left. But the goldfinches still love them!

It's still very pretty!

End of summer, and yet still so colorful.

We have a sunflower head we're letting dry for the seeds, and I can't wait to get to it now! :)
